All Thunderbolt™ 3 products should be connected to the Thunderbolt™ 3 PC/Mac host. It cannot be connected to the host only with USB-C interface. Please refer to the following explanation.

PD01-TB3+ performacne test

 

Under the Windows operating environment, we use the software to test the PD01-TB3+ product, and get the maximum performance of read 2753.5 speed (MB/S) and write 2119.5 (MB/s) speed under the continuous transmission. 

 

PD01-TB3+ Temperature Benchmarks

 

After 90 minutes of continuous operation testing, PD01-TB3+'s aluminum surface center temperature is about 63.6 degrees, and the temperature of internal electronic parts is kept at about 81.5 degrees. This temperature will not cause any safety problems for the device and users can use this with confident. 

Made of Highly recyclable Aluminum 

 

PD01-TB3+ casing is made of highly recyclable aluminum and is completely enclosed the 3D TLC NAND Flash inside, protecting the high-capacity TLC NAND Flash and data when it is on the move or in a backpack.  The excellent heat dissipation of aluminum also means that it is highly efficient in cooling and absorbing the heat of the internal components, keeping your data safe and maintaining working temperature all the times.
