One SA2-P2 connects two ST2-SB3 products
EA2-P2 provides two eSATA ports for two ST2-SB3 products. You could use one ST2 with RAID 1 mode for protecting your important data, and the second ST2 with JBOD to miximize your storage capacity and the flexibility in managing your 4 HDDs.
ST4-SB3 with a SA2-P2, only one eSATA cable supports up to 4 HDDs
Since ES2-P2 supports multiplier function, it connects 4 HDDs thru only one eSATA cablefor the help to minimize the cable management works! Abd if your Stardom ST4-SB3 is equiped with one ES2-P2, you could easily leverage all 4 HDDs at one time with almost no hassle in cabling.

Though ES2-P2 supports two eSATA ports, it can only leverage for at most 4 HDDs at one time. One ES2-P2 is unable to support one ST8-S3P or two ST4-SB3 products. If you need 5 or 5 more HDDs for your daily use, we would recommend one Stardom SJ20-x8 Adapter or two ES2-P2 Adapters.
